A Sense of Exploration and Adventure (and Pulling Up Kudzu)

If you asked someone what excited them the most about coming to Duke, you might not expect them to say "picking up trash." But it’s one of the things that Chase Locascio is looking forward to. That, and kayaking.

“I'm looking forward to just exploring the area. And I think picking up trash is a great way to,” he says. “You get a little feel for the land. So, I think that should be a good way to get acclimated to Durham a little more, too.”
