Community Service, With Motivation and Patience

Community service is very important to Garrett Simons, an 18-year-old incoming first-year student from Hilton Head, South Carolina.

He’s hoping to expand his community at Duke.

“I’m interested in politics, government and current events,” he said. “And I’m hoping to do a major at the Sanford School of Public Policy, with either a major or minor in public policy.”
