Bricks to Stone: A Short Walk Marks a Big Transition

First-year students got a little taste of their future home Friday afternoon during their walk from East to West Campus as part of the Bricks to Stone ceremony, part of Duke’s QuadEx living-learning model.

Under clear skies on a marvelous April afternoon and cheered on by alumni and friends, hundreds of students followed members of the Duke University Marching Band from the traffic circle to
